Before Shipwrecked
What attracted you to spend five months on a desert island?
The surroundings. And fit birds!
What were you doing before you arrived on the Island?
Working full-time as a barber.
What did your friends and family think of you doing it?
My family were upset I was going. My mates were excited.
What do you think you will achieve by doing it?
I spend most of my time with older people at work -so hope to make some friends of my own age.
What's your longest period away from home prior to Shipwrecked?
Three weeks travelling around Europe.
What did you think about having to spend so long away from home with complete strangers?
I was nervous because obviously you're taking a risk with living with people you don't know, and not knowing what's going on back at home.
What's your worst habit?
I think I can be too 'in your face' - like telling people what to do.
What's your best feature?
Keeping people on their toes and getting things done.
