What attracted you to spend five months on a desert island?

Women in bikinis! Got to be honest, that was clearly the first thing that sprang to mind! Along with the peace and quiet and the gorgeous surroundings of a desert island, makes it sound like paradise.

What were you doing before you arrived on the Island?

I was working for a five-a-side football company as the General Manager for a site in East London. It was very stressful and hectic.

What did your friends and family think of you doing it?

All my friends and family were over the moon and really excited about me going on Shipwrecked. My closest mates at home all said that I was the best one out of the group to go on there, which made me smile!

What do you think you will achieve by doing it?

I think I will achieve a huge sense of team unity and learn a great deal about myself from the experience. This is a challenge and I aim to achieve every part of the challenge.

What's your longest period away from home prior to Shipwrecked?

Probably about six weeks whilst I was at Uni, but that was with regular contact to home by phone, email etc, and absolutely nothing like three months without speaking or hearing from your family!

What did you think about having to spend so long away from home with complete strangers?

Its very nerve racking to think of it like that, but I get on very easily with people, so I'm forward to meeting everyone else and to find out what they are all like. I'm sure I'll make some great friends along the way.

What's your worst habit?

My worst habit at times has got to be being lazy and saying that I will do things later, but never get round to doing them.

What's your best feature?

Probably the fact that I listen to people, though my parents may disagree with that one! Erm - my eyes!
