AFTER SHIPWRECKED: Fliss continues model and is working towards a degree in film.

• Fliss enjoys a 'Chelsea' lifestyle and often visits some of London's most glamorous bars and clubs
• As well as modelling, Fliss has worked as a care assistant, waitress, sales assistant, events organiser and promotions girl
• Fliss has followed in the footsteps of Madonna and studied Kabbalah

Before Shipwrecked

What attracted you to spend five months on a desert island?

I needed a break from the hustle and bustle of London and wanted some headspace to decide what avenue I wanted to advance down in my career. It was also the opportunity of a lifetime!.

What were you doing before you arrived on the Island?

Modeling occasionally but I really wasn't applying myself to the best of my ability.

What did your friends and family think of you doing it?

They're all very proud but also slightly wary of the media attention the show could bring.

What do you think you will achieve by doing it?

Hopefully find some lifelong friends and learn a little about myself. I'd like to know which direction I want to take in life too.

What's your longest period away from home prior to Shipwrecked?

I've lived away from home for the last 4 years.

What did you think about having to spend so long away from home with complete strangers?

I generally mix easily with new people so this didn't daunt me. Starting uni in a city where I knew no one was good preparation.

What's your worst habit?

I occasionally smoke when I'm out - a habit that I should kick. I come across as stand offish but its just my way; when you know me its easier to understand and not take personally.

What's your best feature?

I let things go a lot more now…no dramas with me. Looks wise…I'd say probably my eyes.
