Before Shipwrecked
What attracted you to spend five months on a desert island?
The obvious: clear blue sea, sunshine, sand and escapism.
What were you doing before you arrived on the Island?
Working in a bar and deciding that the plan was to make a plan.
What did your friends and family think of you doing it?
They were very supportive. My family was fairly non-plussed though; a good thing I think.
What do you think you will achieve by doing it?
Making some new friends, and dealing with random situations that I wouldn't normally have to deal with. Probably therefore improving my patience.
What's your longest period away from home prior to Shipwrecked?
A similar amount of time, around two and a half months, but I was in contact with family and friends though, so it was easy!
What did you think about having to spend so long away from home with complete strangers?
Although daunting at first, I was definitely up for launching myself into it.
What's your worst habit?
Talking an incredible amount of nonsense an incredible amount of the time.
What's your best feature?
Controversially the amount of apparently 'endearing' rubbish I speak.
