What’s the best thing about being home?
FOOOOD!!..... Oh and of course family and friends.
What do you miss most about island life?
Being surrounded by such a diverse group of amazing people. The idyllic setting. Not having to rely on money or a mobile phone...or wasting time on the internet.
What was your most memorable moment?
The events leading up to and around the pontoon races. Also when James, Char and all the other Hawk Island people returned.
Worst part of the Shipwrecked experience?
The long drop, which changed into the short drop by the end.
Who did you get on best with?
I don't like ranking my friends, and I'm terrible at listing because I always leave people out, so everyone.
Anyone you won’t miss?
No! I'll have BIG phone bills this year.
Who did you fancy?
HAHA.
Would you do it all again?
Yes!!
Would you recommend it to anyone else?
I would recommend it to everyone, I think most young people need to experience something like this.
How has the experience changed you?
More sides to my personality have appeared! Apparently I can be 'mature' sometimes, and 'diplomatic'. I've also learnt to appreciate how lucky I am and everything that I have or gain in life. Lastly, not to judge characters so quickly, as everyone is the way they are for a reason, which is not necessarily their fault.
Was being “shipwrecked” what you had expected?
HA! No way. It was much harder than I thought it would be at first- BIG shock to my system. But it was a thousand times better than I thought it would be and my relationships with the people I met are much stronger than I expected.
What does the future hold for you now?
More traveling hopefully, enjoying the luxuries of life, some work and then Uni.
