It's all about raft building on the Shipwrecked islands as materials have been dropped onto the beaches on Sharks and Tigers for the tribes to build some awesome floating devices for the upcoming pontoon race. With the boys busy puzzling out the raft build, Fiona and Lianne show maths student Jonno the wonders of Tiger Island. Jane reckons that the new arrival is a breath of fresh air, and early signs say that Jonno may well fit in...
Raft work
Play video: Smell the testosterone!
There's some dodgy sawing action over on Sharks as the girls and Joe Stone get busy making paddles, while Kim and the boys turn their attentions to building a raft to rival the Tigers'. You can practically smell the testosterone as Paul and Stu get over-excited at the prospect of winning the race, while Joe and co. get equally excited as they play imaginary guitars and marvel at their own paddle-making skills.
More preparations
Play video: Stress levels rising
It's 6am, and The Sharks are already up and practising their raft skills out on the lagoon. With Amy as coxswain and Paul the Marine at the helm, they are determined that nothing shall keep them from victory. Ben Lunt is also determined that the Tigers should win, but his impressive raft design is taking some time to build. His stress levels are rising as he's worried he's not spent enough time with new arrival Jonno... losing is no longer an option!
Speed dating
Play video: Let's get it on...
With so many Sharks inhabiting Shark Island these days, the tribe decides that the best way to get to know Jonno is to organise a speed dating session. First up is Joe, who till now has been the only gay guy on the island, and isn't really up for sharing the position! However, Joe gives Jonno a healthy 7 out of 10. It's Stu and Paul who are the most stumped by Jonno's personality as his jokes go right over their heads...
Jonno picks islands
Play video: Crunch time!
Louis is the MC for the moment when Jonno must pick his tribe... and as the competition gets nearer to the end, his decision is all the more important. He bonded well with the Tigers and was part of their raft-race team, and also tells the Sharks that their camp is not as impressive as the Tigers'. But will that be enough to sway him to Tiger Island and help them make up the numbers they so desperately need?
