The girls built themselves a community as the Tigers, the boys were the Sharks, and the Battle of the Islands commenced! 2006 Shipwreckers John Melvin and Charlie Freeman have a very difficult decision to make. They are both feeling a little overwhelmed as the joint responsibility to choose Sharks or Tigers at the final Beach Party is theirs. With the scores at Sharks 14, Tigers 13, John and Charlie realise that all power lies in their hands! Worse still, the seasoned Shipwreckers are spilt on their decision and don't know what to do...

Stevie, and Mother of the Tigers Fiona gather everyone together for the last time. For the Tigers it has been a rollercoaster ride with many downs as well as ups, but they have always kept their spirit strong. The Sharks define themselves as a bunch of misfits, and they wouldn't change this for the world!

Charlie and John were honoured to have been chosen to return to the Shipwrecked islands, but what a tough decision they have. Since they were split in their views, they needed to take a more clinical approach to the process of choosing an island, and they carefully examined the behaviour of both tribes. The three factors they took into account were: energy and enthusiasm, team unity and overall journey... Time to crown the winners!

For the originals, they have been stranded on a desert island for five months, and now they are desperate to return home. As the boats take them over the lagoon and out to sea, they look back to their islands, remembering the experiences that will stay with them for the rest of their lives...
