Battle of the Islands
Tom has a tough week on Tigers as he waits for an opportunity to move to Shark Island and be reunited with his pal Danny. As Shipwrecked rules state that each tribe must have a minimum of five members at all times, he is unable to move Islands until the Tigers win a new arrival. This week he hatches a plan to guarantee new arrivals Matt, 23 and London boy Mike, also 23, pick Tiger Island to live on, thus giving him the opportunity to nominate.
The Tigers tell Matt they will accept him if he and Mike choose Tigers at the beach party. All Matt has to do is convince Mike to choose Tigers as well.
Both Matt and Mike feel like Tigers as they leave for the remaining half of the week with the Sharks and things are looking good for Tom and the other Tigers. But Mike settles in well on Sharks and by the day of the beach party his loyalties have changed.
When it comes to decision time, Matt piles on the pressure to persuade Mike to pick Tigers and eventually Mike gives in. The Tigers keep their word by choosing Matt and a happy Tom is finally able to nominate to Shark Island.

The Third Island
At this week’s beach party Mike McHale is the latest Shipwrecker the two tribes believe is going home. As Mike heads out into the lagoon he is unaware of the tactical game played by the Tigers this week. Arriving on the third island Mike is relieved that he is not going home and his Shipwrecked experience is not yet over.
As a treat for Mike’s first night, the tribe show him a Third Island sunset. While they watch the sunset Sarah gets philosophical and everyone makes fun of her. Later that evening over dinner, the tribe, led by Char, lampoon Sarah further.
Later in the week, feeling Sarah is isolating herself; Char takes her out of camp for a heart to heart on the beach. Here Sarah tells Char that she is unhappy and wants to leave. Char is devastated and feels guilty about the way they have been publicly ridiculing her. Sarah then announces to the whole group that she intends to leave and go home. The tribe console Sarah, asking her not to throw away the opportunity of a lifetime.
Will the tribe manage to persuade Sarah to stay or will she leave the harsh third island for good?
