Battle of the Islands
It's all change this week with no new arrivals and the prospect of a nail-biting finish as the inhabitants of the Third Island learn that they will return to the main islands to decide the result of the whole competition. But where will last week's unprecedented three new arrivals choose?
For the first time ever, three new arrivals turn up after the beach party - 23 year-old Sarah from Devon, 21 year-old car mechanic Nathan and 19 year-old window dresser Joseph. The three new arrivals spend the first half of the week having a great time with the Sharks and feel the Tigers have a lot of work to do to better their time on Sharks.
When the three new arrivals arrive on Tiger Island and are taken into camp for a chat the atmosphere takes a nose dive when Joseph suggests the Tigers should impress him and that he has no need to impress them. The Tigers are shocked by his outburst.
Rebecca finds life on Tiger’s difficult without the support of her twin sister Sarah. She tells the Tigers she wants to nominate at the next beach party. The atmosphere in camp is tense once again as the Tiger boys can’t believe Rebecca has chosen to make her announcement in front of the three new arrivals.
At the beach party the three new arrivals choose Sharks and the tribe finds out they can only keep one of them and that they must send the other two home. The Sharks choose Nathan while Sarah and Joseph are sent packing. After serving a three week sentence on Tiger Island for a Shark punishment Keris returns to her tribe and Rebecca nominates herself to join Keris on Shark Island. Before the beach party ends MC Anna makes an announcement that shocks the tribes – she tells them that today there will be no new arrivals. With the score 13 Sharks to the Tigers 9 both tribes are nervous and speculate wildly as to how their final week of the competition will pan out.

The Third Island
Joseph and Sarah are quick to realise where they are heading as they spot the Third Island from in the middle of the lagoon. They are immediately welcomed by the tribe who explain the news that they will be returning to the other islands very soon, to decide the winners of Shipwrecked 2008.
On their last morning, originals Char, James and Nick decide to watch the sunrise on the reef for the last time. They reflect on their time as Hawks and the journey they’ve been on.
When it’s time to leave, the excited Hawks say goodbye to their island as they set off on their boats to re-join the game.
