It's my second week as a Shark now and I feel like I've been here forever! I've settled in so well and I'm absolutely loving my time here. I've got used to island life very quickly which is a big surprise as I didn't think I would be able to cope without my home luxuries.

At the beginning of the week we were entertaining our new arrival Allen. He is a really cool guy and fitted in so well and we all want him to choose Shark Island to live on. To be honest we were a bit lazy when he was here and didn't give him our usual new arrival treatment, but it worked in our favour as he told us he didn't want any pampering or falseness. I think he really enjoyed his time here and was one of the lads straight away and he definitely kept us entertained. So fingers crossed to see what happens on Sunday.

We're all really excited on Shark Island this week too as its Stevie's 21st birthday. There has been a big build up and Amy has moved over from Tigers to spend it with him. We have even invited three of the Tigers over and are prepared to break the rules to personally invite Fiona, Benny and Terri.

This morning we made a big breakfast and took it to Amy and Stevie in bed (well on the decking) then we gave him our group card which we have all signed and a few people have made him presents which he will be presented with later on in the day.

Stuart and I are now a couple and I can honestly say I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. He's such a lovely guy and very good looking! Things with him are really easy and we are really enjoying each other's company. I never expected to fall for somebody as I had just come out of a long term relationship and was going through a stage of hating men. So the last thing I expected was to meet someone. Especially in a place where I'm looking my worst and have to wash in the sea and have no hair straighteners. It's also strange as I feel like I have known him a lot longer than 3 weeks and its because we are in such close confinement and together 24/7 that you are forced to get to know people whether you want to or not. It's really nice that we talk about a future together and we realized that if we can get through three months of being this close then we can get through anything!

Overall I'm really enjoying my time here, and especially now that I'm with Stuart. I'm missing my family and friends and especially my puppy Lilly but I wouldn't change where I am for the world.
