Kevin and Veronica decide to foster as they are unable to have a child of their own. A boy is left in their care who they find unconscious the next morning. During the rush to get him to hospital, they are relieved to find out that his collapse was only due to the ingestion of half a slice of hash cake.

Despite their foster child forming a strong bond with Kevin, Veronica decides that they should spend more time together before they decide to foster again.

Steve is in possession of a stolen car which belongs to a chief police officer.

After it goes missing, their local corrupt policeman Tony helps Steve get it back.
