Nick (31), a holiday resort entertainer and Nursery manager Sarah (28) are like chalk and cheese. He's a born extrovert while she’s reserved and shy. The couple love each other and have been together for 10 years but their contrasting personalities are starting to have a negative impact on their sex life.
Nick is desperate to experiment and wants Sarah to try bondage and sex outdoors but Sarah isn't comfortable about this at all. Since the birth of their 7 year old daughter, Sarah has been unable to shed the weight she gained during pregnancy and is self conscious about her body. She's only comfortable when sex is a strictly under the duvet, lights off affair. Their mismatched sexual styles have left Nick frustrated and Sarah afraid he'll leave her for a more adventurous lover.
The Sex Inspectors come up with a programme of tips and advice that includes a kissing master class; pointers for the inhibited lover and an inventive foreplay technique involving a string of pearls. The tips seem to have an instant affect on the couple, particularly Sarah who surprises Nick, as well as herself by revealing a whole new side of her personality. But will it be enough to help this mismatched couple find common ground?
