Located at the entrance of Parker River Wildlife Sanctuary, Joppa Flats Education Center provides programs and activities in one of the nation’s most productive wildlife viewing areas. Over 300 species of birds have been spotted in the area! There is a new visitor center overlooking the Merrimack River, which includes indoor and outdoor observation areas, a conference center, guest services area, and interpretive displays. The Center is open Tuesdays through Sundays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
