So much natural beauty and luxury is rarely found in as much abundance as the island of St. Lucia. From the depths of the lush rainforest to the tips of the magnificent twin peaks of the Pitons, St. Lucia has something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a fun - packed family trip, a highly charged activity holiday or a romantic rendezvous for two, you’ll not be disappointed.

Whether you are looking to relax and unwind, participate in a variety of soft-adventure activities, get back to nature or soak up the rich local culture, St. Lucia can offer one of the widest selections of holiday options across the Caribbean.

Visitors to St. Lucia have a wide variety of accommodation to choose from, from simple St. Lucian style guesthouses and boutique hotels to spacious villas and family oriented all-inclusive resorts. There is something to suit every taste and budget.

Activities on the island are never at a shortage. The Food and Rum Festival will be taking place again in 2008, featuring some of the best chefs, wine and rum connoisseurs, food critics and music fans from across the Caribbean and further a-field. St. Lucia is fast becoming the music capital of the Caribbean, not only because it boasts the longest running Jazz festival of the region (St. Lucia Jazz), but also thanks to the Kalalu festival (December 2008), an annual festival devoted to the genre of world-music, which premiered last year. The St. Lucia Carnival is another highlight, where the island comes alive with Calypso music and dancing in the streets. A grand parade of colourful costumes winds through the streets of Castries and prizes are awarded for the best band and king and queen of the bands.

In November, Virgin Atlantic re-launched their Manchester to St. Lucia route, which is a once a week direct route. Virgin Atlantic and British Airways both fly from London Gatwick a total of five times weekly, so it’s now even easier to reach this stunning Caribbean island. St Lucia; Easy to get….even harder to leave.
