Jersey

The appeal of gulet cruising lies in the peace and tranquillity, the gorgeous Turkish coastline, the friendly crew, visiting a variety of stops en route and the sheer experience of cruising the open sea. Turkey's countryside is strikingly beautiful, a real revelation for first time visitors. The Kas peninsula, where we docked briefly whilst filming, is a wonderful setting for a holiday with its lovely shops and tea gardens and views across the blue sea to the Greek island of Meis.
Our holiday makers who are a group of friends, were enjoying a 7 night cruise from Fethiye to Kalkan stopping off at quiet bays for lunch and dinner and visiting some of the famous sites along the way.
Tersane II
Turkey is the perfect destination for Gulet cruising on board one of Tapestry Holidays gulets. Tersane II is one of the largest gulets on the southwest coast of Turkey being 37 meters long ,with just eight guest cabins. The gulet has a full crew including a chef as well as snorkelling equipment, fishing lines, DVD player, and a windsurfer. In order to maintain the relaxed ambience the Tersane II is an adult only gulet so only children over 16 years (unless on a sole charter) are permitted.
