WEEK 6 - SICILY!
This is the last chapter in Amy’s gastronomic tour of Italy and she finishes off in great style on the island of Sicily, meeting well-known cookery writer Eleonora Consoli in her Sicilian farmhouse on the slopes of Mount Etna near Catania, the second largest city in Sicily.

WEEK 4 - PESCARA!
Amy Lame continues her culinary tour of Italy. This week she is in Pescara, the largest town in the Abruzzo region on the Adriatic Coast. Here she meets up with the charismatic London chef, Aldo Zilli who was born and bred in Pescara and he talks her through the local speciality of the area, fish. With a variety of fresh fish, caught off the coast that morning, they make a wonderful fish broth and a delicious but incredibly simple vongole, or clam pasta.

WEEK 3 - FLORENCE!
In the third week of her gastronomic tour of Italy, Amy Lame reports from beautiful Florence, the capital of Tuscany, famous for Michelangelo’s David and Brunelleschi’s dome. Amy meets an exuberant American chef who has made Florence her home for the last 25 years and together they cook 2 typical Tuscan bread recipes, Panzanella and Pappa al Pomodoro.

WEEK 2 - BOLOGNA!
In the second week of her gastronomic tour of Italy, Amy Lame reports from Bologna, which in Italy is also known as 'La Grassa' or 'The Fat' because of its unashamedly rich cuisine. Whilst it's most famous for its namesake 'Tagliatelle alla Bolognese" the region's specialities also include tortellini, balsamic vinegar, parma ham and parmesan cheese.
