MARC THE VET
Our resident vet Marc qualified from Edinburgh University in 1995. Since then he has helped all types of animals - large and small, domestic and exotic.
Recently voted the 'UK's Favourite Vet', he is based in Brighton, and is specialised in emergency and trauma surgery for dogs, cats and rabbits. He is also responsible for thepet.net a service that now invites pet owners to rate how pet-friendly pubs, hotels, caravan parks, vets, etc., are to your pet.
All his life, Marc has been passionate about wildlife and nature, and frequently gives talks at local schools and care-homes about how to respect and preserve our environment.
He also writes a weekly column in the local paper giving healthcare tips and advice for pet-owners, and firmly believes that everyone has a duty to 'give something back' to their community.
Marc's hobbies include snowboarding and scuba-diving, and his ambition is to travel to Antarctica and dive under the ice! For more information check out Marcs own website.
