Sunetra Sarker plays Anji Mittel...
Sunetra Sarker is no stranger to the medical profession. With a doctor for a father and having played naughty nurse Nisha Batra in Brookside, she's well accustomed to creating havoc on the hospital wards.
However, as Sunetra explains, her role as fun loving Anji differs dramatically to anything she's played in the past.
"I’ve been very used to playing characters who are quite serious and feisty, and often bitter and twisted."

However, as Sunetra explains, her role as fun loving Anji differs dramatically to anything she's played in the past.

"So to find such a strong and fun role was a real thrill for me because Anji is by no means a weak character. I found the fact that she had so much get up and go a real attraction."
Anji is the baby of the group. "I would describe her as an all round good time girl," says Sunetra.

"She doesn't seem to have the maturity that the other girls have in their responsibilities and their approach towards life in general. She's a lot more carefree and lives for the moment - you'll always see her with a smile on her face. I warmed to her instantly."
