Nip/Tuck stars Julian McMahon as hotshot plastic surgeon Dr Christian Troy, a man who enjoys all the perks of the successful Miami practice that he has shared with his best friend, Dr Sean McNamara, since they graduated from medical school.
Although Christian still uses wealth and women to satisfy his needs, years of selling a phony image have taken a more significant toll on Sean, threatening to ruin his relationship with his wife, Julia, and children, 17-year-old Matt and 8-year-old Annie.
Against a dramatic background of fragile patients masking their psychological flaws through physical perfection, Nip/Tuck's troubled relationships at home and work grow ever more complex.
