Die-hard Johnny Carson fan Michael Essany started presenting his own local cable access show out of his parents' living room at the tender age of 14, helped by Mom (sound and camera) and Dad (runner/caterer).
 
Five years later, the unusually stiff-haired chat show host-with-the-most has managed to attract celebrities such as Jewel, Kevin Bacon and Kelly Rowland to the unlikely entertainment hotspot of Valparaiso, Indiana.
