My New Best Friend
Could you pass off a complete stranger as your new best friend for one weekend? Six competitors tried to do just that and, with £10,000 up for grabs if they could convince their nearest and dearest that the friendship was genuine, the stakes were high.
But it wasn't easy... Their so-called 'friend' was really an undercover actor hell-bent on causing as much mayhem as possible. His sole aim was to irritate, infuriate and exasperate them into giving the game away.
So did the contestants grin and bear it as their nightmare houseguest turned the screw, or did they crack and fess up? And how did their friends, families and partners react to all the tears, tantrums and inappropriate touching?
