The return of some old faces Thursday 26th September
The Birmingham heats unearthed a few familiar faces. One of last year's finalists Becs was back
again to try her luck. Joining Becs in the audition were the infamous Romanian 'Cheeky Girls' who
amused the Pop Rivals judges recently with their singing skills. This time their brother, who is a dancer,
accompanied the pair. He showed off his twinkle toes, but unfortunately the families modeling skills are on a
par with their singing!
The 6-hour wait didn't seem to deter the expectant crowd of people. Cheeky Chris used his selection
of poses to wow the judges from a smouldering look to cheesey grin, he ran through the whole gamut.
Meanwhile, 18-year-old performing arts student Cassandra kept the crowds outside entertained with her dancing.
In front of the judges she whiped out her portfolio - but her face didn't fit in with their criteria.
Duwaine worried about his mouth after the judges pointed out that he is 'all smile'
he wondered what to do next. Dylan's inimitable frankness scared identical twins Marc & Rich who hailed him
as the new Anne Robinson. He decided that they are the weakest link. Tears were shed at the end of the day when
Becs was rejected while Thomas, Duwaine, Jake, Moa and Vicky were told to pack their bags for the next round.
