In the smallest town in the smallest state, 15-year-old Molly Stage is positive that she's got the weirdest family in the world.
 
Having recently emerged from braces, thick glasses and puppy fat, Molly now dreams of shedding her embarrassing family - but that's not so easy when you're outnumbered 8 to 1 by crazy relatives.

First, her hopeless parents: dad Jerry, over-committed coach of a female soccer team, and mum Mary, sage dispenser of ill-considered advice.

Then the siblings: petty crook Rick, wannabe Jesus rocker Grant, and the terrible twins, the ever-feuding Cindy and Mindy.

As for her grandparents, there's no love lost there. Grandpa just can't stand grandma (partly because she's always hiding food).

Looks like Molly's got her work cut out…
