When he was just two-years-old, Josh Holloway's family relocated from California to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia. It was here that he perfected the lazy southern drawl of his Lost character – shady con man Sawyer.
Yet another ex-model Lost star, he left the University of Georgia after one year to embark on a successful modelling career that took him all over Europe and North America.
His lifelong passion for films eventually brought him to the movie capital of the world, Los Angeles, where he landed a role in the hilarious comedy Doctor Benny, opposite Eddie McClintock and Sarah Wynter.
Josh has also played lead roles in the independent films Mi Amigo, Moving August and Cold Heart, in which he starred opposite Nastassja Kinski, but Lost is his biggest project to date.
And while he admits to hating the long hair he has to wear as Sawyer, surely it beats his first ever job – picking up dead chickens on a farm?
He was born on 20 July 1969. He enjoys sailing, snowboarding, martial arts, motocross and playing guitar.
