Victoria Stilwell comes face-to-face with Niles the demon Chihuahua, whose owner bought him because he looked a bit like a cat. Karen Fletcher loves felines. But after 22 years as a cat owner, she decided to get a dog. So she bought Niles the Chihuahua because he was roughly the same size as a cat, treated him like a cat, and has never known a moment’s peace since. Niles growls and bites, pees in the house, and won’t let Karen anywhere near him.
Taking him out for a walk is a two-man operation that requires military planning to minimise the bloodshed from Niles’ snapping and snarling. With family and friends no longer visiting, and Niles impossible to take out, dog and owner are marooned in the house while Karen tries to work out what went wrong. Can Victoria save this misguided owner and her misunderstood mutt?
