The Curran’s Old English Sheepdogs have a long list of misdemeanours, and right at the top is jumping. A lot. They do it when Penny, Jade or anyone else comes through the door, sits down, pays them attention, ignores them….it’s relentless. They compete against each other for the most attention, and although no malice is intended, the dogs have a combined weight of 11 stone and easily knock over any unsuspecting punter. They are also prone to nipping which can hurt. Penny and Jade are both covered in bruises and scratches and visitors are dwindling by the day. Their combined boisterousness and has scared off Penny elderly mother meaning she’s only been round once since Christmas.
Forget walking bro and sis together – they only end up fighting to try and get in front of the other. So Penny and Jade take one dog each and go off in different directions, ambling along for a lonely hour by themselves. Off the lead they’re a nightmare too, ganging up on other dogs and refusing to come back.
Car journey’s are a nightmare too. Anything passing by on the pavement is greeted with over a hundred decibels of barking as the hairy hounds hurl themselves at the window. It’s a miracle there haven’t been any crashes yet.
Bumble is more Jade's dog and is very possessive of her, barging Doogal out of the way if Jade starts stroking him. She's the naughtiest and the most dominant, always trying to climb up on sofas and beds.
The girls can’t handle the sheer muscle of these hairy mutts, so it’s up to Victoria to show them who really is boss.
