It's Me or the Dog
Antonella and Lee’s homelife is being completely held to ransom by her two tiny toy dogs who yap so much that, combined, they’re literally louder than a chainsaw and are in danger of causing permanent hearing loss to themselves and their 10 month-old baby.

Tyson is a two year-old Maltese who, despite his size, thinks he’s a heavyweight. Three year-old Pomeranian Pixie is a prima donna pooch with a mouth to match. Despite Antonella’s constant beseeching, well yelling, this terrible twosome love nothing more than to bark… And bark… AND BARK!

Antonella bought the main offenders from a pet shop in LA to keep her company. She wanted to be like Paris Hilton and have cute little dogs she could dress up, put in her handbag and take to doggy day care.

But since the family returned to the UK they’ve been nothing but trouble. The two toys go mad yapping when anyone enters or leaves a room, comes in or out of the house or rings the door bell.

Outside, they yap and bark at any other dogs, bikes, joggers and even crisp packets. Their dream of a relaxing family walk with Tia in the buggy and the dogs has never been realised; in fact they dread taking them out. Lee walks ahead with the baby and Dala, his German shepherd, because he’s so embarrassed by their behaviour.

Antonella’s rather strange method of restraint is to hoist them in the air so they’re dangling in their harnesses to stop the barking.

The high pitched yapping is driving Lee and Antonella a) apart at night and b) up the wall, waking the sleeping baby and causing the neighbours to complain. Things have got so bad Lee has been sleeping on the couch for months.

So far Pixie & Tyson have had 5 trainers including even Arnie Schwarzenegger’s. Lee and Antonella have tried nearly every gadget, pill and technique going to stop the incessant yapping and to date have spent over £5,000, and still no cure. The only thing left on the list is Victoria, but will her pill be too bitter to swallow?
