Imagine living next door to Karen Holder and her not one, not two, not three, but six dogs who bark and howl incessantly. But to Karen all this barking is just her babies talking to her. She admits she loves her dogs (Penny, Fudge, Blue, Mouse, Cookie and Toby) more than her husband Alan and her son Shaun.

But Karen's dogs are out of control: the family haven't had visitors for years as the dogs leap all over them, and Shaun's had enough of the non-stop barking and can't cuddle his mum because the dogs get jealous and growl at him. He's also sick of being teased at school for being covered in dog hair and even gets it in his sandwiches.

Victoria is shocked by the manic behaviour of the dogs. She's also shocked by all the sugar the dogs are consuming. But she's really riled when Karen admits she hasn't taken the dogs for a walk in two years!

Victoria instigates simple techniques to stop the dogs jumping up all over their owners and visitors, and changes the dogs' shocking diet. But when Victoria leaves Karen can she stick to the dogs' new routine of healthy food and plenty of exercise?
