Coming Up Rose D'Ors

It's always nice to be proved right, so we were obviously not surprised to see the show pick up a Rose D'Or at this weekend's awards for best sitcom! Whilst we're dead pleased for Graham and the gang, particularly as previous winners have included the likes of Peep Show, Nighty Nighty, Extras and Not Going Out (riiight), we were more intrigued by an even described by the press release as hosted by "well-known Dutch comedian and musical virtuoso Hans Liberg" - sounds brilliant!

Chinese Whispers

We haven't done an awful lot recently, well since November anyway, so it was with great pleasure we picked up this titbit of IT Crowd-esque gossip. In a mad case of Chinese Whispers, Digital Spy have announced the Peep Show boys, David Mitchell and Robert Webb, are writing a pilot sitcom for BBC Two and brilliantly enough - they read it from an interview from Teletext!

Not that we're any more proactive mind 'cos we're just going to link to it, but the interesting thing about it all is David Mitchell's quote about where the show is headed.

"We're still fiddling with it, but it will be similar in style to The IT Crowd, Black Books and Father Ted; a more heightened reality than Peep Show."

Surely Graham's royalty cheque is in the post? More soon, hopefully...
