Nathalie Emmanuel Interview
Wednesday 15 July
The next instalment of Hollyoaks: The Morning After the Night Before will be coming to a computer screen near you tonight at 7pm, so don’t forget to wander over to e4.com/hollyoaks to check it out. After Sasha’s disastrous first night out in Manchester, the gang opt for a quiet night in at Dave’s, but it soon becomes clear that the Caner Crew’s definition of ‘quiet’ is different to everyone else’s!
We caught up with Nathalie Emmanuel (Sasha) to find out what it was like working on Hollyoaks: The Morning After the Night Before.
“I've absolutely loved it!” she said. “We got to work with new people/characters who were all great - they brought their own energy to it. We got to film in all different locations in Liverpool and Manchester. We filmed in Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester just messing around, but most of it was improvised, which is always good to do if you're an actor - to have freedom not to be confined by the script all the time. We filmed in very public places and had to move people along when they were stood wondering what we were doing. But it was fun, different and something I've never done before. Not that I don't enjoy Hollyoaks, but it was a whole new set up which takes you out of your comfort zone. When we're here on Hollyoaks, it's a closed set and it's easier to get shots without people shouting 'Hollyoaks!' or 'Sasha!' all the time, so it was a lot more challenging in that sense.”
You can check out the rest of the interview on the Hollyoaks: The Morning After the Night Before website.
There are also some extra goodies going round on Bebo where Josh has posted a new video message to Rhys who’s missing out on the fun back in Hollyoaks village. If you want a bit of one-to-one banter with Josh, Sasha and Dave, Bebo’s the place to be.
Hollyoaks: The Morning After the Night Before airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7pm, only on e4.com/hollyoaks. Don’t miss it!
