Desperately Seeking Shortlist

Over the past two weeks, Hollyoaks were ‘Desperately Seeking’ a new ‘face’ to play the brand new character, India. Holding online auditions on the Desperately Seeking E4 page, people from all over the country uploaded their video auditions in hope of becoming the next new star of Hollyoaks. Now the first shortlist has been made! Drum roll please...

After much deliberation and a few late nights, the 1679 entries have been narrowed down to just 25! Among the judges are Producers, Caroline Roby and Henry Swindell, who commented that they found choosing the shortlist ‘difficult’ due to the ‘high standard’ of entries.

If you made the shortlist, you’ll be heading up to Lime Pictures studios on Monday 29 June for an audition. You might even meet some of the cast members. So, remember no swooning when you see Ricky Whittle, you're a professional now!
