Hollyoaks Appearance Prize for Talent Winner
Tuesday 1 JulyHOLLYOAKS have joined up with 'Now That's What We Call Culture', a regional talent search to find the most talented people in Merseyside.
The talent search is looking for singers, dancers or anyone who can wow an audience to audition at Echo Arena on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 August. Whether you work, play or live in Merseyside, you can have a go! The twelve finalists will be invited to showcase their talent at a star-studded finale, attended by over 10,000 people at the Echo Arena on Friday 8 August. Entrants will perform in front of a panel of judges who will include Lime Pictures Creative Director, Tony Wood.
The lucky winners will get the chance to play a starring role in the closing ceremony of the Capital Culture Year, £1,000 cash prize and a guest appearance on HOLLYOAKS!
Phil Redmond, Creative Director said: "I have been saying that I wanted to find ways for more people, not only to get involved in Capital of Culture, but through the Open Culture project actually get involved in creating culture, so taking over the arena in August is one way for anyone to come down and show their own talent – because That’s What We Call Culture! "
