ROCHELLE INTERVIEW

We spoke to Rochelle about how it felt to be on HOLLYOAKS set for their first television appearance...

Are you fans of Hollyoaks?
Thom: We're huge fans of Hollyoaks!
Lydia: We watch it every night.
Thom: And then we watch the next day's episode – it's sad isn''t it?!
Lydia: The most important part is watching the end bit when all the credits have gone up, I'm always like: "We have to watch the end bit, don’t turn it over!" It's the crux of the episode.

Do you have any favourite HOLLYOAKS characters?
Thom: Well I like Sasha because she's very pretty... oh, and a great actress!
James: I really like Warren, I think he's a dude. He's ultra cool and confident, and in control of everything. It's like he runs the place.
Lydia: I don't really know who my favourite is – Jack Osborne springs to mind, for being a Scot. And JP is also a good character
Thom: I like the vicar as well, he's the naughty one isn't he!

What did you say when you found out you were doing this?
James: Well we were out having dinner with our manager when he got the phone call, and we were over the moon.
Thom: Yeah it's amazing! For one thing, because we love HOLLYOAKS, but also because it's such a great opportunity for us.
Lydia: Yeah, anything that can up our profile really and get us heard by people, is great. We’re one of those bands that just wants to play music to everyone, and we just hope that everyone will like us.
