We caught up with Manchester band The Courteeners when they were on set for The HOLLYOAKS Music Show to hear all about their new album...

You have a new album, St.Jude due for release soon, what are your hopes for the album?
We recorded it last October so it's been a while now and we just want people to hear it and to get it out there now. It's a proper little gem. We don't have a real master plan for it, just fingers crossed and I'm sure it will do alright.

There is a picture of Audrey Hepburn on the cover of the album, why did you choose Audrey Hepburn?
Liam:Just because she's a pretty lady. It's actually a painting that I did of her last year. We didn't have any ideas and we were just sat in the house and I thought let's use that then. We'd rather use something that was personal to us than have some guy somewhere in an office design our album cover.

If you had to choose one song for the album that would suit HOLLYOAKS what would it be?
I would have to say 'Please Don't'. It's all about when you split up with someone are they say 'can we still be friends' and you're just like 'oh please don't say that!
