The HOLLYOAKS girls are often pictured out in designer clothes. Do you still enjoy picking up a bargain?
Absolutely! I recently bought a gold dress from Asda for £12 - its fantastic!
You have a really great sense of style but everyone makes mistakes sometimes. What is the outfit that you most regret wearing?
Definitely a silver sparkly top that I wore over a black bra. I don't know why I did it, it was hideous!
Accessories are a great way of dessing up outfits. What is your favourite/most versatile accessory?
It would have to be leg warmers. I have them in loads of different colours and there are so many ways to wear them. They are perfect for flats, heels and boots and they all create different looks.
Have you ever had a hair disaster and if so what was it?
Yes, I've had a few. The worst would have to be my perm, or the time I dyed my hair pink!
James Sutton (John Paul McQueen)
You play a character 6 years younger than yourself. Do you use any beauty products to keep your skin looking young?
Yeah, my favourite product is a moisturising face scrub. I don't mind using stuff like that - I'm a bit of a metrosexual really!
What has been your biggest ever fashion disaster?
I had some huge flares at drama school that I absolutely loved. Looking back they were pretty hideous though!
Have you ever used hair straighteners?
Yes, my hairdresser always uses straighteners on my hair. I actually own a pair but I hardly ever bother with them, except if I'm going out.

When you have taken off Lauren's Emo make up and clothes what will you be wearing this winter?
I love tartan at the moment. I have a black velvet jacket which I bought from TK Maxx, and I'm looking for a nice tartan skirt to wear with it. I also think you need a good pair of boots for winter - something that will keep you warm but which also look good. As long as you've got a good pair of boots and a warm coat you're alright.
The curls in your hair always look defined and sleek. Can you recommend any products for curly hair?
At the moment I use Boots Leave-In conditioner but they seem to be running out of stock in every single shop. I keep looking for it everywhere!
Now that you are in HOLLYOAKS have you splashed out on any extravagant clothes or beauty products?
Probably one of the nicest things I've ever bought for myself is a Jean Paul Gaultier dress. It's the first proper dress I've ever bought. I got it from TK Maxx and it was for Emma Rigby's (who plays Hannah Ashworth) 18th birthday party. It's a knee length dress in different shades of brown with a bit of pink, and it laces up at the back. It's quite unusual.

What is your must-have beauty item?
Lip balm. It's definitely my thing and I am very particular about the type I use. I like something that moisturises rather than just coats your lips - Blistex is a great one.
You have been celebrated as a trend setter both on and off screen. What shops do you use most regularly for your personal wardrobe?
On the high street I like places like Miss Selfridge and H&M. I also like smaller boutiques, and you can always pick up a good bargain in charity shops.
