Malachy and Mercedes were involved in some big storylines last year and have since taken a step back. Can we expect to see them come back to the forefront?
Mercedes and Malachy are important characters in the show and yes, you can expect them to come back to the forefront. You can also expect to see them running a business in the village in the not too distant future.

Are we ever going to see Rhys and Hayley get together?
Rhys and Hayley, what could the future hold for them? I think they'll get together for a time but of course true love never runs smoothly!

Which of the cast or characters do you suggest we watch out for in 2009?
I think you should watch out for everyone but certainly that teenage group of kids for the summer. Moving on, the new people who will be in running The Loft are ones to watch, and Cheryl from Hollyoaks Later will be joining the main show which I think will have big consequences for everyone she meets.
