Next month we are going to see three of the show's biggest characters, Justin, Russ and Warren, leave. Are you concerned about three such popular characters leaving at the same time?
I think there's always the concern when you have three big names leaving. I think they have a brilliant storyline as an exit, I think it's really dramatic and exciting and that it paves the way for some of those characters that we've had around for a while to really come to the forefront and drive the show.
What can we expect from the Warren, Clare and Justin storyline?
Fireworks, drama and tears! I think what you can expect with those three is that if you put them in a room together there will be sparks flying and in this case, quite literally!
Most of the students are due to graduate this year. Can we expect some new students in September?
We've got some new students but obviously we've got a lot of characters of our own who will be completing their A-levels and heading to HCC, but yes there will be some new students arriving.
Newt seems to be the most in demand male in Hollyoaks, what does the future hold for him with regards to his love life?
I think Newt's love life is an interesting place to be in that every girl fancies him and I think Nico, who plays Newt, is having a great time. We've got a great episode coming up in a few weeks time which sees our teenagers, the three girls and Newt, all locked in a classroom together for the best part of a day and we'll learn a lot about them all. This will set the scene for a summer of loving for Newt.
