A Day In The Life... Of A Second Assistant Director

Penny, the director, talks through a scene with Stuart (Russell).

I make sure the first assistant director, Ross, has got everything he needs, as well as ensuring the director is as happy as they can be. Second assistant director's also make sure the set's quiet, which is the hardest part because no-one listens to us. If you come to our studio you'll see us standing there waving our hands in the air - we're not crazy, that's our job.
