Darren tries to hassle Newt. Newt manages to get rid of Darren, but he's annoyed when Jake comes into his room trying to be friendly. Jake encourages Newt not to run away from his problems and to apologise to the people he's hurt. Newt sees Theresa in the village and tries to speak to her, but she just has a go at him for abandoning her. Afterwards, as Rae leaves her house, we reveal that Newt is videoing her. Newt approaches Rae, but she threatens to call the police. Rae's freaked out and confused as Newt runs away. Theresa finds Newt looking forlorn at the skate park. She apologises for being harsh earlier and is disturbed when she notices the video of Rae. As Theresa realises just how messed up Newt is she's genuinely worried. They share a tender moment, but Newt thinks they would never have worked together. Later on, Newt makes up with Jake and says sorry for being rude earlier. He has decided to make some changes and move on. We leave on Newt cutting off his hair, wiping away his old self …

Sasha and Calvin nearly get caught out giggling about Mercedes. Sasha has to make an excuse but asserts her authority. Calvin's worried when he gets another letter from the council complaining about noise and fighting in the street. He also has a go at Sasha for wearing an inappropriate outfit, but she tells him not to be so patronising. When Darren wanders in already tipsy, Malachy refuses to serve him. Sasha tells Malachy he can't turn away paying customers. Darren uses this to wind Malachy up. Jake comes in soon after and Sasha blows up. Malachy accuses her of having double standards - just like Darren, Jake is a paying customer. Sasha retaliates that it's different - Jake killed her mother. Darren continues to push Malachy until eventually he snaps and drags Darren across the bar. Jake manages to break up a fight between Malachy and Darren outside. Afterwards Malachy persuades Calvin that he could solve his problems with the council by taking on Jake as door-staff. Calvin's reluctantly won round. Jake is apprehensive, but also very grateful. However, Sasha can't believe Calvin would hire Jake. Calvin retaliates, telling Sasha he doesn't need her permission.
