Amy's in a mess but she can't stop thinking about Ste and what he's done to her. Myra mothers her at the McQueens' and assures her she's done nothing wrong but urges her to tell her dad what's happened. Ste's repulsed by himself for hitting Amy and is lost without her when she rejects his calls. Mike's upset when he sees the state his daughter's in and can't believe she's still insistent on defending Ste. He storms round to the flat to collect all her things but Ste pushes him one step too far. Filled with rage, Mike snaps and lashes out at Ste.

Frankie's finding life in The Dog difficult without Jack and throws herself into the business. Steph keeps a watchful eye on her mum, worried she's falling apart, but it's hard for her too as she knows exactly how she's feeling. A guilty Darren returns to The Dog to a barrage of abuse from Frankie who's furious with him for walking out on them in their time of mourning. When Frankie has to endure Kris and Malachy reading the letter from their dad explaining why he's gone away, she can't take much more and tells Darren she wants him to leave as soon as they've had the reading of Jack's will. Darren's in turmoil when he gets a call from Jack as the pressure of their secret weighs heavily upon him. Unable to cope with the knowledge that Jack's still alive, Darren decides to reveal all to Frankie but he's left even more guilt ridden when he breaks down in Frankie's arms.

Russ bumps into a stressed Tina in the village and asks her to join him for a drink and a catch up. Tina feels awkward around him and is worried that if she opens up she might start crying and never stop but his manner is infectious and she can't help herself. Tina admits she's feeling trapped in her life and is considering a career in teaching to take her mind off Max. Russ encourages her to believe in herself and tells her to go for it. Myra realises how hard it is for Tina giving up her baby and comforts her daughter but she falters thinking of the son she gave away...

Mandy's struggling to keep Mobs running without Max as Steph's got her own worries now Darren's back home and Cindy isn't exactly a great help. She doesn't even notice that Malachy's using his best charms on her and her day gets worse when a huge delivery of bananas arrives. Mandy tries to point out Cindy's error but she gets no sense from her as she's flirting with Russ. Mandy turns Malachy down when he asks her out on a date but she's secretly pleased with the attention.
