Leo's estranged wife first appeared in HOLLYOAKS village to drop off children Danny and Lauren. On her return she has become a key figure in the chaotic Valentines household, pushing Myra McQueen out to take her place in Leo's life. Her mothering skills are a million miles from Sasha and Calvin's late mother, favouring a more liberal approach.

Samantha is probably best known for her role as Bernice in Emmerdale. She has also appeared in Where the Heart is, Doctors, Dangerfield, Coronation Street and Midnight Man.
