It seemed that Steph had finally found happiness with old friend Max until she was widowed on her wedding day. With step-father Jack also apparently dead Steph is struggling to keep it together and look after Max's brother Tom on her own.

Carley, meanwhile, entertains off screen as well as on, with her all-girl band Diamond.
