Following a miscarriage Jacqui discovered that she could not have children. However, Jacqui and her boyfriend Tony found a surrogate in Jacqui's sister Tina. Jacqui is now determined to ditch her old ways and be a good mum to baby Max.

Claire had previously appeared in Waterloo Road and Coronation Street, before joining HOLLYOAKS as part of the McQueen clan.
