Jacqui's sham marriage to Aleksander Malota ended when she decided to commit to Tony Hutchinson. Jacqui has since had a miscarriage and was dealt a shocking blow, being informed that she can never have children. But she and Tony are now looking forward to a new arrival, thanks to Jacqui's sister Tina offering to be a surrogate.

Claire had previously appeared in Waterloo Road and Coronation Street, before joining HOLLYOAKS as part of the McQueen clan.
