Zak returned to HOLLYOAKS after a brief departure and has settled into student life well. Unlucky in love Zak has been saddened by the recent departure of forbidden love interest Katy Fox.

Kent rejoined the cast having taken some time out to study at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
