Spencer is Warren Fox's foster brother, who arrived unexpectedly just before Louise and Warren's wedding. Warren is protective of Spencer, who has learning difficulties and a mental age of ten.

Darren has featured in various television commercials, and theatre productions, prior to his role on Hollyoaks.
