Newt (real name Barry) was hospitalised earlier in the year suffering from schizophrenia. Although he made a good recovery the discovery that Jack is still alive and the arrival of his biological mother have been testing for the troubled teen. He is currently in a forbidden relationship with fellow emo Lauren Valentine.
Nico joined the Manchester School of Acting in February and studied there before he won the role of Newt.
