Jake has become increasingly disturbed since his wife Becca ran off with Justin Burton, and then died in prison. He has since married Becca's younger sister Nancy, but she has left him after he attempted to rape her.

Kevin’s previous TV work included a stint in ITV’s Night and Day, before taking the part of Jake Dean.
