Jack ran The Dog pub with his wife Frankie, but his financial situation plummeted, leaving him suicidal... until Darren came up with a plan to solve their problems - faking Jack's death.

Jack spent months pretending to be dead, hiding in The Dog attic. When twisted Niall got wind of Jack's faked death, he attacked the ex-cop leaving him for dead! Despite his heroics during the church explosion, Jack served a prison sentence for fraud, and has now returned to the village.

Jimmy arrived in HOLLYOAKS having previously played roles in Highlander, When Saturday Comes and A Touch of Frost.
