Rivelino aims his 30 yard free-kick against East Germany at his colleague Jairzinho in the wall. Jairzinho ducks and the ball flies into the corner of the net. 23. Brazil are awarded a free kick against Zaire but before it can be taken, one of the Zaire players runs at the ball and boots it upfield. 24. Gerd Müller’s goal from a tight angle to beat Holland in the final.
